Spicy Asian Beef & Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 beef Tenderloin Steaks
  • 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 2 cups frozen edamame in pods
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 cups hot cooked brown rice
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1/2 to 2 teaspoons Asian hot sauce (Sriracha sauce)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.  Coat 20 X 30 cm baking pan with cooking spray.

  2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix thoroughly. Pat into prepared baking pan. Bake in 170ºC oven for 30 minutes. Refrigerate until cooled; slice into bars. Bars should be covered and stored in refrigerator.
