Flanken Short Ribs with Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

  • 450 gr. beef Flanken Style Short Ribs,
  • 450 gr. Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Carrot and celery sticks, ranch or blue cheese dressing (optional)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 chiles
  • 1 orange
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat hot honey ingredients in medium saucepan over low heat. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened; set aside. Preheat air fryer to 200°C.

  2. Combine cornstarch, flour, salt, pepper and paprika in large bowl. Add short ribs and brussels sprouts; toss to coat. Drizzle with olive oil. Place in a single layer, in air fryer basket. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until browned and crispy, turning once.
