INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice the beef sirloin steak lengthwise in half, then crosswise into strips 3 to 6 mm thick. Mix the beef, pepper, and ½ tsp seasoning from one ramen noodle packet. Reserve the remaining seasoning from the packet for the broth.
  2.  Heat 1 tsp oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry half of the beef for 1 to 2 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature for medium doneness (60 ºC), stirring occasionally. Remove from the skillet. Repeat with the remaining 1 tsp oil and beef. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
  3.  Combine the water, onion, garlic, ginger, and reserved packet seasoning in the same skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the noodles. Bring the liquid back to a boil; reduce heat and cook according to package directions or until noodles are al dente, about 3 minutes. Stir in the beef; add the miso, additional ingredients, and toppings as desired.

Enjoy!
