USMEF members now have a convenient new method of obtaining updates and accessing the latest information on red meat exports. The USMEF mobile application is now available as a free download for iPhone and Android phones, through iTunes (from your iPhone, choose the USMEF app offered by Eugene Group Inc.) or Google Play (from your Android, choose USMEF 1.2).
The mobile app provides easy access to the USMEF website and social media feeds. If you choose to allow notifications from USMEF, text messages can also be sent directly to your mobile device. Additional uses for the app – such as registering for events, updating your contact information or ordering printed materials – may also be available in the future, and we will keep USMEF members apprised of these functions as they are added.

Will it cost me anything to have the app?
No. The USMEF app is a free download, and there are no recurring charges.
Will I receive frequent texts, or a lot of SPAM messages?
No. USMEF intends to use the notifications function sparingly, and we will not share your mobile number with any other organization or business. Most USMEF news will continue to arrive via the email publications to which you currently subscribe, such as the USMEF Export Newsline. We plan to use text notifications to inform you of urgent news affecting the meat industry, registration deadlines for upcoming meetings and other developments of immediate interest to USMEF members.
Are notifications optional?
Yes. You can choose to activate notifications – or turn them off – at any time. Turning notifications off will not affect your ability to utilize the app.
