Gourmet Beef Ribeye Sous Vide

Gourmet beef ribeye sous vide are a really delicate and delicious dish. This cut is especially perfect for sous vide because it has a lot of meat and when cooked at a low-temperature everything cooks evenly. Surprise your guests with this special recipe!

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GOURMET SOUS VIDE BEEF SHORT RIBS

  1. Take the ribeye out of the fridge and season it on both sides. Peel a couple of teeth of garlic and add the rosemary and thyme.
  2. Put the meat together with the garlic and the herbs in a vacuum bag, keeping a certain separation between one steak and the other, and vacuum pack it.
  3. Now program the sous vide with water at 55ºC for 1 hour having the ribeye inside the bag.
  4. When the water is at the correct temperature, dip the vacuum-packed meat into the water and let it cook.
  5. When the time has passed, take out the bag, and if you are not going to use it at the moment, immerse it in ice water to stop cooking. But if you are going to serve it right away, directly cut open the bag with a scissors and extract the meat.
  6. Put the meat in a frying pan over high heat with a little butter and cook the ribeye to give it a golden touch and finish cooking around 1 minute on each side.
  7. You can serve it with some grilled vegetables or baked potatoes.
